Isaiah's 1st Birthday (May 23, 2008)

I can't believe Isaiah is 1! It's amazing how much time flies. To me, he's huge these days....and it seemed like just yesterday when he was this little tiny ball that was so helpless...now he has a mind of his own. I swear he's already hit his terrible two's early. Okay, not really....but some of his tantrums are just hilarious. I don't know where he gets his attitude. ;-)

He had a blast at his Luau birthday party (or at least I hope he did), which was on the 24th. We were prepared for Memorial Day Weekend Sacramento weather.....in the 100s, right? WRONG! Quite to my dismay, I woke up to cold, rainy weather the morning of, and was so thankful we had decided on getting that bounce house for the kids. We were just going to use wading pools as entertainment....and because of the crappy weather, the pools were almost untouched (minus the stubborn, shivering 4-year old girl that insisted on swimming anyway). Luckily, the rain stopped by afternoon, and it wasn't as cold anymore...so everything turned out okay.

Isaiah is truly a joy and is such a blessing in our lives. What a great year!
